Cool stuff I want #2...

This is a photo of the ring that I have wanted for SOOOOOOO LONG!

Made by Tacori in white gold

(not including the price of the center diamond)

this ring (just the engagement ring... the band you have to buy separately) comes in at about

$1,400.00 US dollars.

The center stone I would want to put in it would be a

3/4 carat princess cut GREAT clarity...

That would put us out a little more than the ring itself.

So, if you combine the cost of the ring and the diamond I would want in it...

we end up with a total cost in the vicinity of

$3,300.00 US dollars!

The really depressing thought with this one?...

We were going to buy the ring for me with part of our tax return this year...

It turns out we are having a baby instead.

And since as of today I was sort of forced into

resigning from my position at work...

This will likely NEVER happen.

So very bummed. :(

If I could play Santa this year, not only would you get your wish list, your wonderful family would get theirs filled too.

Look at it this way, at least you have something to dream about. What is a life with nothing to hope for?

Best wishes for you and that new baby. In case I am not back before... MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

guttergirl - Awwwwwww! I bet you would be cute in a red suit! :) That is one thing I will never run short of: dreams! Thanks and Merry Christmas to you too!

starbender - Yes, its simply the wondering what the heck the reason IS that bugs me! :) Thank you! I hope you have a GREAT holiday too! :)

honkeie2 - I've never been real big on material stuff myself, but this one is more of an outward symbol of an emotional thing. I have tons of happiness and would give my right arm for health! (for me and my family that is a tall order!) I like to watch QVC, but am much happier to cuddle up next to the man of my dreams every night than get more "stuff". So yes, if it comes to a choice between one or the other, its a no brainer! (but, a girl can still dream, right?) :)

guttergirl - I loved your 12 days post! I can SOOOOO relate!! :)

charity - I'm so sorry to hear about your mom! Give the girls big hugs and kisses from Aunt Tissa and make them give some to you from me too!
