So... My first blog from a new state...
We have been a family again for roughly a month and a half.
Our new state is beautiful!
I LOVE HAVING MY HUSBAND IN MY ARMS AGAIN!
I will not have him for long.
Uncle Sam has called and wants to ship my husband into a war zone.
I cannot and will not say exactly where or when.
Simply that it is far too soon and he will be gone for a very long time.
I am working on ways to help our boys cope with our first deployment...
I'm still not sure how I will get through it... I just know I have to.
I have to be as strong as I can for all of us.
Even if what I really want to do is curl up into a ball and sob for three days.
I hope I can make some friends soon.
We haven't even had the chance to completely get unpacked yet and I will soon be on my own.
I thought we would have more time as a family before his first deployment. As it turns out our time is very limited.
I do have a nice neighbor who has a three year old son that Auron likes to play with. That is a plus.
We found a decent place to rent and as soon as I get out from under all the boxes I'm sure I will find it again.
Stop reading this and go hug your family now.
God Bless You All!

Wow. You have so much on your plate right now. I will pray for you and your family. I pray your husband comes home quick and safely.
If you ever get lonely and need a shoulder, just email me.
Hello, Melissa.
What a hard time for your family.
I want you to know how proud I am of you for supporting your husband. I fully support the military. I had a brother who was a Marine (killed by a drunk driver a day after completing infantry training) and I have a brother in the Air Force (not currently deployed). Because of the sacrifice soldiers and their families make I am certain we are all safer here in America today. I salute your husband. And I salute you.
Hang in there. We're praying for you.
~Douglas
I love you, cousin!!!! Hugs from Arizona!!!
guttergirl - You so rock! Even better than Canadian Bacon! Thanks for your support it means a ton!
Douglas - I thank you so much for your kind words and am sorry for the loss of your brother. In the military we tend to prepare for our loved ones to not make it back from deployments safely but do not think about the things that can happen at home. Food for thought: to cherish every moment God gives us because we never know how many we have left.
La pura vida - Hugs back!!! I love you too cousin!!!!
